Ta'am Ha'aretz Ltd. was founded in 2004 by Gadi Moyal, a young entrepreneur with vast marketing and managing experience.
Ta'am Ha'aretz (Taste of the Land of Israel) is a manufacturer and distributor of virgin and extra virgin olive oil in a wide range of products in varied sizes and packaging. Some of the various types of olive oil are Syrian, Barne'a, Picual, Arbikina, Leccino, Frantoio, Fishulin and Korniki. The company’s main targets are the local wholesale, institutional and retail markets.
Quality assurance is of the utmost importance at Ta'am Ha'aretz and the production process is under constant scrutiny by both the in-house Q.A. department and an independent laboratory.
Strict standards are upheld, including those of the Standards Institute of Israel for olive oil. Ta’am Ha’aretz is also one of the few Israeli companies in receipt of the olive board’s “Label of Quality”.
Ta'am Ha'aretz has a small staff who manufacture, market and distribute the olive oil products, nationally.
The factory is situated on a 600 square meter complex that houses a raw material warehouse, a fully automated production line, a packaging department, a finished product warehouse and a state-of-the-art laboratory.
The production line utilizes the most advanced smart technology, accompanied by a high quality, stainless steel, fully automated mechanism. The machinery automatically filters the oil, fills the bottles, attaches the labels and packages the product with no human intervention. Production capacity is 1,500 bottles per hour.
